Hello everyone first time on the forums. I have an 06 F150 regular cab,V6 ,automatic. I recently changed the brakes on it. Soon after, I started driving the truck I noticed a grinding noise sounds like metal on metal almost. This happens right after I put it into gear and start idling forward, and also when I come to a stop. It does not happen while driving normal speeds only when idling or at a stop. I thought it was the brakes at first but when the noise continued after I came to a stop that ruled out that problem, and now I'm at a loss. I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction before I drive over to Ford for a diagnostic.

99% sure its your IWE solenoid...Search the forum there are a ton of posts on it. It's a cheap and easy fix.
