2006 f150 dead
Hey everyone I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction on this. So a while back my truck started with a little bit of a miss almost as if it were plug or a coil pack. I decided to wait for my check engine light to turn on so I could track the problem from there. Well it took about a month before it finally turned on and it gave me the po345,po349 codes and some code saying running lean on bank 2. I replaced the cam sensor and that did nothing. I looked at the vct on that bank and the screens were perfect, but I replaced it anyway. Long story short i drove it this way for at least another month when it finally started sputtering at 30mph and died. It started knocking and sounded like a backfire or two. I've sprayed starting fluid in the intake and i can't even get it to run off the ether.
Did i clog a sensor running it so lean? Are my cats clogged? I'm a little lost here.......5.4 LITER ENGINE

This truck has 181k on it. It never had any real cam noise or anything like that. I've heard from people that it possibly skipped a tooth, but that was when it was still driving. I am planning on doing a cam lockout on in once i figure out how to get it running again. I didn't think bad cams would cause it to completely die...
