Thanks, I will look into that, plugs were on my mind, but I had them done about 15000 miles ago, and noticed it shortly after that, was thinking I had a bad (new) plug. Not sure what brand they are.

As for the Fuel pump module, mine had a hole in the bottom of it when I removed it. Does the module ground to the frame with the screws or is it internally grounded. Thanks

I started changing the cop's (2 so far) But I was told by mechanic that it was a waste they will send a check engine light if they are bad, I get no misfire on the computer and I have no check engine light on.

I'm in the same boat.

As said; it's the plugs and cops.........I had the exact same issue.

And bad cops won't always send a code.

If you're not getting a code (as I didn't), floor it allot! You'll eventually get a code.

After my plugs were changed the truck felt a million times better. Then two days later I felt just the tiniest bit of hesitation. Brought it to autozone and had them scan it, bad #4.....misfire. Since my plugs were all brand new I replaced that cop. Truck runs perfect now.

Cops won't send a code, if you can change them. Your truck will thank you. It's expensive, I know.

Default Same Issues in my 08'

I have a 2008 5.4 with the same bucking problem when in overdrive and pulling hills.Mine will do it once you get on it and make it downshift, almost feels like transmission slip.I ruled that out because a couple days ago the check engine light finally flashed and my Edge evo scan picked up a Cyl. 1 misfire. How do I know if this is for a plug,c.o.p. or injector? My truck has 83,000mi and I figure I will go ahead and do the plugs, what if this does not solve it?Swap the c.o.p. with one from a neighboring cylinder,to see if the misfire moves also,Perhaps?

Some will argue about accel coils, amazon sells them for half of what oem's cost. You can buy individually or as a set. Just make sure the last number is a 3 for 3 valve.
It a cheap option if you only want to replace one at a time. My 05 runs great with them, and I have two other friends who put 60,000 on them, without any issues.

My truck acted the same way, I would have to play games with the throttle. If I could get it to downshift then I could accelerate, but then trying to get back into the throttle It would buck like the tranny and the motor were coming apart, especially when it would go into OD.

Exactly, the first time mine did it was 60 miles away from town in the boonies,I was for sure the tranny was going to take a dump. What code did you have and what fixed the problem?
