Default 2006 F150 4X4 Ride and braking problem

First hello all - first post - Luv my Fords.

Have 135K on the truck and plan on keeping it for a while.
I guess around 100k++ started noticing a weird issue.
One is when braking to say make a turn off the highway (55mph) (still in a straight line braking) the brakes stutter almost like the anti skid thing is sensing ice or water in small patches and is releasing tension on the brakes.

Have new tires and the truck generally rides fine. The shocks seem the same as a 2011 F150 with 35k I have.

Any ideas would
Thanks much.

Check your pads and rotors. Perhaps warped rotor?

Check your rotors had the same problem. My rotors were not warped but a rust ring on the inside side and closest to the center of the rotor.

I just got new rotors in the hopes that it would fix it. When I pulled the old ones off the pads had a groove worn in them.

A new set of Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads will be less than $200

They are well worth the money

I had this problem but it was only occurring on the front drivers side. Pads and rotors had maybe 5-6k miles on them. Ended up being a warped rotor caused by a loose wheel bearing. Replaced wheel bearing, turned the rotor, problem solved.
