Default 2005 XLT Radio

I notice the radio in my new 05 has an "Aux" button, but no visible Aux input. I'm wondering if there is an Aux input on the back.

And also if they make such a thing as AUX to USB cable. I don't want to change the stereo if I don't need to, but I need to be able to play music off my USB Drive. I've got 16GB worth of music on it that plays through the HU on the old truck, but I don't want the agro of swapping stereos if I don't have to. All I need is USB functionality.

I've got an 06 XLT, my radio also had an AUX button with no visable jack. So like you, was wondering if it may be in the back. No such luck. Pulled radio out and checked. Ended up going to Best buy and getting a Pioneer with USB port.

I have the same problem. This what you need if you don't wanna replace the radio.

My 07 has an aux input on top where the storage area is at. But its not working since the truck had an aftermarket single din headunit.

Mine has a working AUX jack on top. It's a 2007. I think they started putting it in the 2007 and newer models.

Yeah they started in 2007. I originally bought a Belkin FM transmitter. Paid $50 for it! Was not impressed so when I found this adapter I returned it immediately.

I went ahead and ordered the adapter I listed above with a 6ft cable. Cheaper than replacing the stereo. Found it a few bucks cheaper from another seller. Here's the link:
