2005 XLT 5.4L starts fine cold, will not start when hot
My truck has 235,000 miles and I am the original owner. A couple of weeks ago my truck started stalling, jerking, cutting out, throwing codes, and would not start back up unless you let it sit for 30 minutes or so. Here is what I have done so far and what problems seem to have gone away.
During each parts replacement I would have the negative battery cable disconnected and then when finished and prior to starting I would run a alligator clip cable from the negative cable to the positive post for a few minutes before reconnecting the battery. Then I would start and idle the truck for 10 minutes to reset the base settings.
1. Replaced the Throttle Body and gasket, and both cam position sensors, due to codes being thrown. The Truck would still cut out and stall when slowing down for turns and stopping at stop signs, and traffic lights. It would also jerk and cut out when doing 65 - 70 mph randomly. Talked to my local shop mechanic and he said I should have also replaced the gas peddle / sensor assembly.
2. Replaced the Gas peddle / sensor assembly. Truck was no longer stalling when slowing down for turns or stop signs, but still getting the jerking and cut out doing 65 - 70 mph. Now it is throwing codes for the mass air sensor.
3. Replaced the mass air sensor, and now it no longer jerks or cuts out when driving 65 - 70 mph.
4. Last problem is that after you drive it for over 20 minutes and then park it, it will not restart until you let it sit for 30 minutes. Battery / Starter sound strong, just sounds like it is getting no fuel. I replaced the fuel filter, new gas cap, and the Fuel Pump Driver module by the spare tire, but no luck and it is not throwing any codes anymore.
If I go out and try and start the truck first thing in the morning or after it has been sitting for a few hours, it starts right up just like when it was new. If I drive it for over 20 minutes, then park it to run into a store or restaurant, then when I come out it will not start (cranks over strong), let it sit for 30 minutes or so and then it fires right up.
Out of the initial problems, they all seem to be resolved except for the starting issue when hot. Any ideas what to look at next or just take it to the shop and let a mechanic work on it.
Thanks

I would check the FPDM. Drop your spare tire and look on the cross member where it is mounted. If it sits flush, its the old version and is known to corrode and cause intermittent or no start conditions. Pretty cheap to change out and only takes a couple minutes, 2 bolts and 1 plug that's it. May save you from getting stuck and having to get towed. Good luck, maybe someone else will chime in as well.

The original codes I was getting before I replaced anything were;
P0320, P0340, P0345, and P2106.
There was one more code thrown after I replaced all the parts in #1 and #2 of my original post. I can't remember what that code was but it was for the Mass Air Sensor it did not come back after I replaced the Mass Air Sensor.
Since changing the parts in #1, #2, and #3 of the OP it is no longer throwing any codes at all. It just will not start back up after I drive it for more than 20 minutes and then park it and shut it off. I just need to wait at least 30 minutes before it will start back up again. Turns over just fine, but does not start.
