i have a 2005 ford f150 5.4 triton. i have had problems with the truck jerking. but now i was driving from work the other day. i got to a light and i tried to take off then my truck hesitated no matter how hard i pressed on the gas. trans fault came on with a flashing overdrive light. the truck will not go over 15 miles per hour, but reverse works fine. i used my superchip programmer to check the codes i came up with 1. p0720 out put speed sens circ error 2. p0722 output speed sens no signal 3. p0731 gear one ratio error 4. p0732 gear two ratio error 5. throttle actuator ctrl system-forced engine shutdown 6. throttle actuator ctrl system-forced limited power. i cleared the codes. tried to drive trans fault and flashing od light with codes p0731, p0732, and p1000. the truck cant be driven to a shop because its running to slow and i doubt it would make it up a small hill if would please help me with this issue and if you cant please point me to some one who can? thank you!

Ai just had the trans/fault message. I also had the p0273 code. I however could get the truck into second gear and drive it to the trans shop. Bad news...sounds like a rebuild is in order. I paid $2400 for the rebuild and upgraded several components including the torque converter.

when you upgraded your trans what did you add & why, if you would like to share? Trying to see what I need to make my truck "faster" with my superchip flashpaq and cold air intake. And THANK YOU!
