Default 2005 Lariat Flow Through vent Problem

Hi, I don't have anyone in the rear of the cab much, but one of my buddies mentioned that no air is coming from the rear vents in the console when the AC is running ( or at anytime).. I have read through the manual, but do not see any way to control this... Maybe there is not a control other than opening or closing the vent ? Even so, I would think I would feel someting coming through when they are open... It's about a million degrees here in Texas and any extra cooling is needed.

Any Ideas what to look for?

Thanks!

Idk if this is true, i kinda just thought of it as i read your post. Maybe you have to choose the air direction switch that has the air flowing to your legs? Considering how low it is. Idk tho ill go check mine for ya.

Edit: mine seemed to work when the air was on..

06 lariat here. when my a/c is on the upper control... (either the digital readout with show it blowing towards the face, or if it is on auto) the air will blow through the vents in the rear of the center console, when you choose the legs control... it will blow through the vents underneath the front seats

You're right about it being hot in Texas; it's "Africa hot"!

Perhaps a piece of paper or something got sucked into the duct that feeds the tunnel to the back vents?

Thanks for the replies... I guess I'll have to trairl passages... But good to know that when on Auto, there is supposed to be something there. I have Nothing and any setting... Does anyone know if it is separate fan? or just pushed from the front?
