Default 2005 lariat engine squeal

I have long going problem with an engine squeal. I have had all the pulleys, belt and tentioners replaced but problem keeps coming back. It is a mild chirp chirp at idle but full screeching squeal when accelerating. Any suggestions appreciated cause this has been going on for 2 years and is driving me nuts. Thanks

It could be the alternator or ac pulley bearings. I would think that after two years, it something would just fail completely.

What belt?? I had annoying chirp wot shifting into 2 and 3rd. Gator back handled business. Buttt....sounds like you have a deeper issue, alternator, ps pump, ac could be the culprit if one of them is starting to go out. It could be harder to turn causing the belt to slip it.

Thanks for the reply. They have been replaced in the past 6 month. I should be more clear. The problem squeal has been. 2 year problem but it's been replace one pully and it stops then a week goes by new squeal and replace a different pully and on and on till they have all been replaced and even a few warrantied out.

That's weird man. How old is the "new" belt?
I know that when one idler pulley goes, there's a good chance the others aren't far behind. I could see if the pulleys went bad one after another, that it would stress even a brand new belt. Especially if that belt was a normal auto parts store cheap one. Does that make sense?
