2005 fx4 over heating issue 😐😔

Fan clutch, clogged radiator, or air in the system. Is this happening regardless of whether or not your fluid is topped off or does it begin to happen a few days after topping off?

I stuck my hand into my jeep fan blade while it was spinning one time. I don't recommend that.

The fluid is always right on the mark no leaks, haven't topped up on fluid since I popped the hose months ago. If I'm stopped at a light for a while, stuck in traffic or in a drive through waiting on coffee too long lol the temp starts to rise and if I don't keep an eye to it the gage hits hot and then she beeps at me telling me to check the Gages. But if I turn the truck off for a few seconds literally 3 secs she goes back to normal like nothing happened. The truck hasn't gave me much trouble (knock on wood) since I owned it, only for this issue more annoying then anything lol with all the great help here so far I'll just have to check her all out and see what the issue is and get it fixed.

Does the heat work? I had a pump impeller separate from the shaft (3 of them in 4 weeks actually) and every time it would overheat but I'd get cold air blowing through the dash vents. Cold cabin air can also be from an air pocket.

I can't remember who posted, but clogged rad fins might be the cause. Force water back through rad and condenser to see what comes out. All cheap things to try.
