I am having an ongoing issue with my 2005 Ford F150 SuperCrew FX4. The seat belt light will come on and flash and chime at me even if the seat belt is plugged in. I have tried the whole process to turn the chime off, but that doesn't make a difference. I replaced the seat belt receiver at an awesome cost of $270 and that didn't fix it. If I plug a diagnostic computer into it, it recognizes that a seat belt is plugged in. Yet it will just come on and chime at me, and there is no pattern or consistency as to when and why. I am at a loss and would really appreciate some help.

Figured it out, cluster has a short in it. Good times, these clusters run way too much stuff in these trucks
