2005 ford f150 5.4 engine misfire
I have a 2005 ford f150 that keeps getting a cylinder 5 misfire.i have put new plugs,new coils,and new injectors in it with no luck yet.it will run good then #5 will start to miss and it will bog down.all of a sudden it will come back in.when it starts to miss it will flash the ses light with cylinder #5 misfire code.compression is good.i have replaced the injectors,coils and plugs on all cylinders.also dropped the exhaust to make sure converters were not stopped up.please help!!!!!!

Have you replaced the COP with a known good one or a new one out of the box? Some COPs can be defective right off the bat. If the COP is known to be good, has the voltage going to the COP and plug been checked to ensure it is getting enough to fire?

I replaced them with several different new ones and then took the truck to ford where they told me it may be the injectors but they did not know for sure so i bought a whole set of injectors today
