Default 2005 Ford F-150 Issues

Hello I'm new to the forums and have a question about my truck.
It's a 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat with 251k miles on the odometer, However it has a newer engine with less than 100k miles. I had a check engine light show up yesterday while driving and I also noticed while driving up a hill with the RPM's around 2k-2500 it started shuttering almost like a misfire. I ran the codes on my scanner and came up with a P0174 and P0430 and I was wondering what might be the cause of these codes. Any help would be appreciated!

My guess would be spark plugs! My old truck did that, right at 98k miles.

That was my initial thought too after feeling a misfire but the codes are what threw me off as the codes don't point directly towards a misfire.

Did you happen to decode the codes. I could provide a little more insight if I know what the codes are.

P0174

System Too Lean Bank 2.
PCM's Adaptive Fuel Strategy has reached its rich calibrated limit for bank 2.
In plain English, this means that the PCM has detected a vacuum leak (it may be real or perceived) and is compensating by injecting the maximum amount allowed (under its program) of fuel into the cylinders for bank 2.

P0430

A code P0430 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: The catalytic converter is no longer functioning properly An oxygen sensor is not reading (functioning) properly There is an exhaust leak

I googled both codes and ended up with these

Get ready to change your plugs if they haven't been. Change your COP boots and springs as well, they are cheap and its good maintenance. That hopefully will clear up your misfire and run some fuel injector cleaner through a couple tanks of gas. I had the P0430 code and the injector cleaner took care of it. Keep an eye on your cats, if you had a misfire, any unburnt fuel was probably run through your cats and can ruin them. Drive the truck till it gets good and warmed up and then take a look at your cats underneath to make sure they are not getting cherry hot, if any are, they are clogged and need to be changed.
