I was just pulling out of a parking lot onto a busy hwy and my brakes went completely out! The brake pedal went all the way to the floor and didn't stop the truck. Thank God the truck came to a stop before I rolled into the oncoming traffic. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? It was complete brake failure. I checked the lines for leaked but everything looked ok and there is plenty of brake fluid in the tank. When I mash the pedal now it just goes to the floor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a brake booster or master
Cylinder.

Master cylinder is about 80.00 reman. Power brake booster is about 100

Master cylinder is being replaced right now. Hopefully that's all that's wrong with it. This is the first time I've something like that happen. Scary as all get out!

Master Cylinder fixed it. Hopefully that's all that's wrong.

your parking brake would still work even if your other brakes don't
