Default 2005 F150 - want newer take off wheels

I've got an 05 F150 supercrew lariat. The guy I got it from didn't ever clean the wheels I think. I did my best and they are decent now but I don't like the style as it's hard to clean. I found some 20" FX4 wheels on craigslist that I thought about getting. Do they have the same bolt pattern? Will it screw up my speedometer any? I plan on keeping a stock size tire. Thanks in advance all!

Those will fit, same bolt pattern 6 x 135 , and as long as you have the same tire size your Speedo will be fine

04-14 have the 6x135 bolt pattern (2015 may be the same, I read somewhere it was different, like a 6x150)

Want to ask similar question: I am looking at newer Hollander 3785 wheels off of 2012 F150 as shown here, will they fit my 2005? Fitment guide said bolt pattern and thread size was the same but center bore was different size (86.5mm for 2012 vs 87.1mm for 2005). Thanks for any help!

2004 - 2014 F150 wheels fit, as long as they're 6 lug. The 2015 wheels still fit (6x135), though I havent personally tried any. I've had wheels from 2005, 2009, 2012 and 2007 on my truck (07)

I have 2011+ Limited rims on my 04.

I hear the 2015 wheels have slightly different back spacing so its up in the air, I have heard of people doing it but have not seen it.

I'm looking at '15 wheels for my 08. Offset/Backspacing is a point of confusion on these wheels, at least for me. If you look at a website like http://www.wheel-size.com/size/ford/f-150/ , is shows the offset different for the 15/16s, when compared to the 04-14. I'm speaking with regards to 20" wheels, the size I'm interested in. That website lists the '15 20" wheels as 9J 20 ET30 (9" width, 20" wheel, 30mm offset). For the 04-14s, it's 8.5J 20 ET44. However, when I look at the '15 wheels on eBay, you can see they are consistently listed as 8.5J 20 ET44...just like the older wheels. A member here is running '15 20" 6-spoke sport gunmetals on his older truck, and they stick out of the fenderwell a tad, leading me to believe that even thought the numbers may be the same, something is different.
Also, as stated earlier, the 04-15s share the same lug# and spacing (6x135). However, lug nuts from a '15 will not work on the older trucks. The '15 wheel studs are M14 x 1.5.
