Default 2005 F150 idle/stall problem

First post here!

I've been having problems with my truck dying at stops and not idling or idling rough. At highway cruise it also intermittently gives a shudder of varying roughness.

I have put about 7k km on this truck in the last month and have done the following.
Change oil
Change fuel filter
Change throttle body
Change spark plugs
Change 4wd solenoid.

It has recently gotten worse and I'm getting fed up with it.

2005 f150 fx4 5.4 3v

Any ideas?

Any codes?

Why haven't you tried coils? Boots and springs?

What was the point of changing the IWE solenoid for a rough idle?

Sorry I didn't specify,
I replaced the plugs and metered out the could and wires and found them to be great.

The IWE sol. Was replaced since the old one didn't work...

Today I had a look and I think I solved the problem!
Wire harness had 6 wires chaffed through on the AC line just under the PCM!

I repaired the wires and the truck runs and drives with no issues so far... Fingers crossed!

I ran the diagnostic with the code reader and got 4 codes:

P0553 PSP switch hi input
P1000 OBD system readiness test not complete
P1780 transmission control switch o/d cancel circuit out of self test range
P2197 o2 sensor stuck lean bank 2 sensor 1

truck has smelt a little more like fuel from the exhaust recently so one o2 sensor may be shot. Any idea about the other codes? How to fix them?

Also anybody have the wiring diagram for the engine wiring harness? I'm curious to see what wires were damaged and confirm fuses are ok

Why not just check all the fuses 1 by 1? Did you reset the computer (unplug battery for 30 minutes) and clear the codes and still have codes?

I had the computer removed for over an hour to repair the wires.

I pulled the codes with a scanner. No cel on

So fixing the wires cleared the codes, thats a good thing. I would just inspect each fuse 1 by 1 by 1 then.

Just remember, anytime you mess with the PCM, unhook the battery first.

and remember you have to do the relearn process after you disconnect the battery or it will run like crap.

I have never done a relearn, had the battery disconnected numerous times. Always ran perfect after hooking the battery back up.
