I am using the lisle tool and have been able to extract 4 other plugs but every time i get the tool to bite it is pulling out the threads of the spark plug tip. Any suggestins would be great.

Are you saying the center electrode broke off and stayed in the hole?
If so, you'll need a 17/64" drill bit and a 6" extension to drill the spark plug electrode out then use the extraction tool to pull the shell out.

Yes the electrode broke off the porcelain and remained in the tip. I used the lisle tool to push it all the way down until it bottomed out. If I drilled it how will I be able to prevent anything from falling into the head.

Blow air into the hole to clear as much debris as possible, use the Lisle outer guide that screws into the plug hole to guide your bit. Only drill deep enough to get a good bite with the extraction rod. After removal try to suck out as much debris as you can.

Thanks for the info. Today I was able to drill out some of the porcelain and the electrode, but I had to use a 1/4 drill bit since I couldn't find a 17/64 with a hex to use with the 6 inch extender. I also used some thread locker to make sure I didn't lose anymore threads in the spark plug tip. Worked like a charm and now my truck is up and running without any misfires.
