so I read post's on checking the left impact sensor (under hood) they are know n to be corroded and break the prongs off, (before doing this unlpug the battery, wait about ten minutes) - but no issue, I have a hunch it is a damaged harness under the drivers seat (neighbor used my truck and dropped the power seat down to the bottom and did not look to see I had my hitch receiver under it and jammed it under the seat) - any idea which harness is the one for the air bag (drivers side) - I looked and do not see any damaged wires - but then it could be a faulty impact sensor vs just the prong's - have not spent $300 to replace it yet

problem found - it was the 6L3Z-14B004-AA (mine was labeled 4L3A-14B006-AB ?) left impact sensor - the first time I unplugged it no issue - did it the 2nd time and one of the pins came out with the connector - so off to ebay or amazon to get a new one - not sure why my 05 F150 King Ranch has the 4L3A part in it - when the web list's a 6L3Z - idea's ?

you would think they would seal these up better at the factory - especially for a air bag system - I never saw a recall on them
