Default 2005 F150 4.6L opinions

Thinking about getting that truck. What are your guys opinions on it. I plan to ride to school with it(6 mile roundtrip everyday) and pull my atv's about once a month (160 mile roundtrip). Whats the gas mileage i would get? Is there any major problems with the truck? Is it reliable, my dad and i take good care of our cars. Thanks for your help.

4.6 is very slow and underpowered...but i still love it and it can use the 96-04 mustang mods if you so chose to upgrade, however the truck gets a 15 mpg at about 70 mph if you use cruise and ive done as bad as 8mpg

Rather than get your 4.6 to 300hp you could get your 5.4 closer to 400 hp for relatively the same cost of mods. I unfortunately have the 4.6 another $700 i should be up to 285hp.
