2005 f-150 will only start with jumper wire on fpdm
hello im new too the forum thanks again for the add.
anyways my 2005 f 150 xlt 4.6 ,motor , has a no start issue, i have already replaced the fuel pump and filter also the fpdm and the only wa i can get it to run is if i jump the pins at the plug on the fpdm , only code i get is the po191 , onther thing is i cleaned the plugs under the driver door and pilled the fps out and inspected it and after i reconnected the plugs and the fps the truck started up and ran , but the next day i was back to square one... if the fps is bad would it cause a no start condition??

I guess i'm lost here. I understand the fuel demand module above spare tire .
I know there's a fuel filter below the driver side . I know there is is a fuel pump cutoff for an accident located on my passenger side . There is a fuel pump relay soldered to back of fuse panel on my passenger side . I know there is a fuel pressure sensor on fuel rail .
I have heard there are fuel wire connectors on drivers side foot molding .
I know this circuit is troublesome . I fought a connector on the fuel demand module 10 to 15 times out on the road in the heat of july with it breaking down every few miles . I went back and forth between an old module and a new one . Turned out to be a gasket in the connector , I guess the dirt caused it to roll when i put new module in . I removed gasket and that was six months ago .

Fixed it this weekend after checking every dang wire thanking it was a bad ground I bought another fpdm and it was the trick... I got 2 bad fpdm from the local parts house . now to figure out the tranny issues..lol
