Default 2005 f-150 ftx

A local is selling a 2005 FTX. 98,000 miles. Leather Bluetooth. Looks like 35s for $15k. What's your thoughts? I'm very interested in this?

I would pass for several reasons.

1)FTX is not a trim level
2)If it is a STX, they dont have leather seats.
3)It has 35's, but is it a 4x4?
4)A 2005, if it has the 5.4 is a ticking time bomb. Lot s of cam phaser problems on the 04-05

Keep looking

1. FTX is the Tuscanny package http://www.drivetuscany.com/ftx/
2. FTX do have leather if I remember right. TuscanyJC is this correct
3. Good question definitely need to know, but I don't think they had 2wd FTX's
4. Depends on maintenance, mine is going great with almost 140,000 on my 04, but neglect can really screw them up with any year.

OP I wouldn't right it off but is there a link to the add or more info? I don't know if I would personally pay 15K, 13K sounds a little more reasonable but its hard to say its all in what your willing to pay if you like the truck.

Yes pics would help. Also, I have no idea what all aftermarket trim levels are. I do know FTX is not a Ford trim level. I personally dont care for all the fiberglass stuff added.

From the looks of it, it is well taken care of. FTX is the Tuscany version. They were $60k brand new. I just called dealer and he said with that trim and condition it's valued high teens low 20s. I was thinking $13k as well but after I take it to a garage for an inspection.
