So got rid of the wife and now I have more money to spend on me. Want some more horses out of my 5.4L motor. please keep in mind that she does have 103k in miles (my truck that is not my ex wife however knowing her she was getting extra mileage elsewhere).

When was your last time you did maintenance on the Truck?


With a 100K I would do the necessary service and then do some performance add ons. Exhaust, headers etc...


Just doing the standard service will make it fell like a whole new truck. Spark plugs, COP, Fuel filter, PCV Valve etc...

Ok, just last month did the plugs and coils. Yes felt like a whole new truck.
Already did the flowmaster exaust.
Considering headers.
Failed to do PCV and fuel filter.
What is COP?

Ok, see that Edge tuner with mount is about $500. Got my attention. Question. Do I need to tweek the motor with this tuner (Im a bit of an idiot when it comes to this) or does this tuner do it for me?
