2005 4.6 v8 lacking power?

2005 4.6 v8 lacking power?
Not sure how to describe my power loss nor how much power the 4.6 should have.
In a nutshell I just went for an alignment and the tech told me the truck had a tough time getting up on the alignment rack.
I know the 4.6 isn't supposed to be a monster but it does feel like It should have more pep. I did do the " break the tires loose test " and it broke em free no problem doing a breakstand essentially.
Is there any way I can compare it to anything? I've had the truck for only a Few months, got it cheap. Its got 140k Miles and I use it just as a yard truck.
