i have 04 f150 fx4 wont start?? new battery. can jump selinoid but still wont run. when i turn key wont even turn over. checked all the fuses. tried rockn for the neutral safety switch and moved shifter back and forth. ANY IDEAS?? THANKS

I had the same problem(only after it rained..) The problem was my battery terminals were cracking from underneath up so I had no idea. I had to take them off and dry them everytime I started it up. (Battery is in my bed). Bought some 24Karot Gold plated terminals and covers just to be safe. No problems since. *Knocks on wood*

Fried starter? Did it die on you and then not start? Or it just would not start one day?

WENT OUT TO GO FOR A DRIVE LAST PM N JUST WOULDNT START TOOK BATTERY IN AND HAD IT TESTED IT WAS FINE. jumped selinoid but wont start will turn over

where my odomometer is soon as you try to start it it says CHECK GAUGES.

I think it might be the starter, I ahd that same problem with my truck and we got her a new starter and she ran fine.

if it was the starter would you be able to jump the selinoid and turn it over?

So when you turn the key you have power correct? Like your radio turns on and stuff?

May be your PATS (passive anti-theft system). Does the red LED on the top of your dash flash fast or slow? If it's a fast flash, it would indicate the PATS system is rejecting your key. If you have a second programmed key, try it. If you don't have a key, then it will have to go to the dealer for re-programming (If it's the PATS system).
