Default 2004 Window Regulator Problem

Just installed a new window regulator on front passenger side of my 2004 f150 super cab but can't get it to work!! There is no power to the switch when there was before! I can hot wire the new motor and it works, but when I hook it into the switch, nothing happens! How did I lose power when nothing was changed except the window regulator assembly? All the other windows work from the drivers door switch. Does anybody have any ideas?

So... you're saying the switch died? Did you try a replacement switch?

Did you disconnect the battery or pull the fuse on that circuit before removal & replacement of the component?

Just figured it out and embarrassed to admit it but it was just the window lock-out on the drivers side was on! Problem solved! Thanks for the replies!

Better that than something that would cost you!
