I just got my 2004 fx4 with the 6 disc deck. I noticed I could see a faint "mp3" on the screen when the sun was shining. So I went inside and burned 6 mp3 cds (worked in my ranger 6 disc deck) only to find the stereo wouldn't play em.

So is there a different input in the back? I've seen decks that have other rca or 1/8 inch inputs on the back, is this one of them? I'd like to be able to either plug a phone/ipod straight it or at least play larger capacity cds.

Also if there is a back plug, or I just need a new deck. How do I get this one out?? My ranger had 4 little holes in the front that a tool slid into.
