2004 low oil pressure Not Starting
#21
So you have fuel pressure.
And it runs with starting fluid - which is basically fuel delivered with the air intake rather than through an injector.
And you say it progressively got worse.
Could you have water in your gas?
If not that, I'd pull an injector or 2 to look for blockage of some sort.

Explain the conditions under which you checked the fuel pressure. And where and how.
Basically, I'm curious to see if you're getting good pressure at startup but the pressure isn't maintained.
Did you physically remove the fpdm and look at the back for cracks?

Wow. I got nothin. If it were me, id check for vacuum leaks not expecting to find any. Then I'd clean the throttle body knowing that probably wasn't it either. Then I'd tow it in to a shop.
The low oil pressure thing is bugging me.
Good luck dude. I'll be watching to see how it works out.

Might be worth putting a light on the injector pigtail. The injectors should have power to them all the time and the PCM switches the ground on/off. If the injector is firing the light should flash on and off rapidly. Try searching around for making a light tester.
