I also would suggest checking the FPDM, check the fuel pressure

I would also say check fuel pressure which is not an easy task on 04+ truck. Some scanners may be able to read the fuel pressure PID but not easy to put a mechanical gauge on the fuel rail like older cars with a schrader valve. Might be worth finding a local mechanic unfortunately.

I just tried keeping it running spraying starter in air intake and it kept running is that any indication that it is probably in fuel system?

truck stays running with starter fluid sprayed in air cleaner would that indicate problem may be in fuel system? Test fuel lines is next.

I would think it will be the fuel pump..don't rely on me ..but I had a blazer that wouldn't start unless I sprayed stuff in it and it was the fuel pump

Yeah, good call! just dont do that often lol
if it stayed running looks like you have a fuel issue.
I would remove and inspect the module but can also be the pump or possible the ruel pressure sensor.
either way, any of those is better than low oil pressure!
Keep us posted, and good job so far on the diagnostics

even though your check engine light didn't come on, some scanners can read pending codes, have you checked for any pending codes?
