Default 2004 lift?

I just bought a 2004FX4 supercrew and was wanting to lift it. not to big i still will drive it daily. what are your suggestions? also, it has over 100k. does everyone stick with the 5w20 or do you go a little thicker with high mileage?

I would up it to 10w30 Mobil 1. On the lift go with a BDS lift. They have the best lift and the best warranty. If they don't offer one for your truck go with a Super Lift or Sky Jacker.

I read on another forum these trucks should only use 5W20, I cant remember why but they opted away from 5W30.

What kind of budget are you on?

you mean as far as the lift? its not unlimited or anything but fairly reasonable. my tires are shot on the stock fx4 rims so i was kind of looking for a lift tire combo.

Budget wise look at Superlift for a 4.5" kit or if you want to spend a little more look at BDS.

If anything the rear might sag just a little, leaving to front higher than the rear.

I really don't know any site with good deals on any of those kits since I haven't looked at all for myself, since I don't want to lift mine. I would search around A TON because there is always a better deal.
