2004 Heritage wheels
Hi Guys,
5.4 2004
Original spear tire LT 245 75 16 M & S
I don’t know which presents the most challenge for me, the 7700 or the word Heritage.
Anyway I would like to fit on 4 X forged aluminum wheels.
But the 7 lug nuts holding each wheel on, seems to be unusual.
Could I make all 4 corners 8 lug?
Could I just get 2 new front hubs and bolt them on, would I need to change the calipers?
Or anything else. If it was that easy, what year truck should I say it is for?
I am 99% sure this vehicle does not have traction –lok axle, so to have that feature and 8 studs for the wheels would greatly enhance this truck. Same questions for this axle what year would be best? And would I have any clearance problems.
In my mind finding F/aluminum wheels with 8 holes for the 8 studs is the toughest challenge.
I think I only ever heard of those kind of wheels offered once from Ford, but not since, that was over 10 years ago.
Tag on cover plate, rear axle
3.73 10 2 4C 05
My thanks to anyone who can suggest an answer to any of the above questions?
Apologize in advance if this post is in the wrong column
