Default 2004 FX4 No Drill Front Bumper Light Bar

Ordered a 20" bar on amazon thinking of how I wanted to mount it for the most factory/clean look possible. The bar I got has the adjustable mounts on the top of it so you can move them as needed, turns out they line up with the factory holes that go through the bumper into possible the grill/another plastic piece. There should be roughly 4-5 of these screws in the front bumper, just pop two of them out and then line up the brackets with the holes and voila! Here's the link for the light bar and a few pics below. If you buy the same light bar as me then the bolts will go fit right into the holes perfectly. The nuts will be a little tricky to tighten as there is not a whole lot of room but it's doable especially if you want a clean look!https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There's 4-5 of these plastic screws.

Does not peek out of the bumper at all. Almost even flush with it!

Looks good! Saved the $30 from buying the brackets. I bought the rough country brackets for mine when I got my rigid bar. I had to modify them a little though.

Yeah I was gonna put it back a little bit so it was flush with the grille but I can live with it sticking out a bit if that means no extra holes in my truck lol

That's true. Mine is flush because the mounts. They mount to existing holes. But needed to be modified slightly to fit. I believe it's because my trucks been in an accident of some sort before I got it

The Amazon link has 2 options:
1) Spot (with 18 LED angle of 30 degree)/flood (with 24 LED angle of 60 degree) beam combo pattern
2) Spot (with 30 LED angle of 30 degree)/flood (with 12 LED angle of 60 degree) beam combo pattern

Which did you get? And is it just on/off, or can you select spot or flood or both?

Gotta go measure and see if this will work on a 2007 Lariat.

Depends what you want. Do you have fog lights? When you turn the bar on they all turn on At the same time. The one with more flood isn't gonna give as much distance as the one with more spot. That's why I ask if you have fogs. And it will fit in the stock bumper 2004 FX4 No Drill Front Bumper Light Bar-image-1433110643.jpg 2004 FX4 No Drill Front Bumper Light Bar-image-2477062316.jpg

Mine is a 20 inch rigid industries radiance bar with amber back lighting. The bar itself was $227 and the mounts were another $25. They are rough country mounts. My wiring harness I bought off eBay and it was $10. The Amber backlighting is hooked to my parking lights. So any time my parking lights are on, it's back lit like the first pic. And the switch is on my center console. It's an adhesive mount switch. So no holes.

Previous owner left me with a switch drilled by the light switch so I'm already wired. Runs to the battery and has a relay. I think the relay is for engine on. Have to test that.

$35 for the light and $25 for the mount isn't a bad total.
