Default 2004 Fx4 F150 5.4l Mystery noise.

First let me introduce the truck,

2004 FX4 5.4l just clicked over 265,000 with no troubles, till now. Considering the direction this is going I should mention at about 240,000 it was give a 3" leveling kit and 35x11.50s. Which sums up the mods.

Now,
I recently had to replace the front right wheel assembly after it left me on side of the road with me morning on the way to work. I replaced that the same night after getting off work. (The first time it rained in Alabama in 3 months was that same night, my luck)

It ran fine for about a week, then got interesting. It started with an abnormal shake at higher speeds, felt as if the front left tire had a know in it bouncing, developed a little play in the steering wheel, bumps became a high risk obstacle, interstate to work is questionable cause it feels like it is gonna rattle apart so I don't wanna risk it. As of a few days ago I began to here a rattle (similar to what sounds like my fan slapping the cover) when I accelerate, slow down or first fire the truck up.

Long story short, I'm stumped. Nothing visibly wrong as far as I can tell. While jacked up, no play in either wheel. No sounds while spinning off the ground. The sounds continue while in 4wd. Plan to replace rotors, pads and ball joints this weekend.

What would you guys recommend as far as diagnosing the problem? Thought it may be IWE and vacuum leak at first but I don't see all of these symptoms being involved in that.

Any advice is good advice.

Thanks in advance,
Sidney
