2004 Ford F150 FX4 New Rims And Tires
Hi,
I wanted to show off my new rims and tires for my Ford F150 FX4. I just got it all installed today.
Apparently a lot of people have the XD Rockstar rims, I didn't realize it till I was driving down the street, but never the less they look awesome on my truck.
These are 18" XD Rockstart w/ ProComp Xtreme M/T2 33" wheels.

yep, that's why i'll rock the stocks with bigger tires for a clean look and won't look like the other truck next to me on the road that over payed to play.
nonetheless, nice truck and what matters is that you think it's the sh*t after spending your hard earned $$$$$$.

They look good man. I like them. I agree with Mark It Ron, lose the chrome door handle. But I like the rims.
Hey PNW, I like the shape and style of the OEMs on my 2006 lariat, but I do like black rims. I've been thinking of getting around to painting them black.

Yep.
You could probably search on the site to see how to get them off. It's PITA from what I understan. I believe it is just a cover on the OEM handle.
I saw somebody used dental floss and such to break the adhesion. Do some searching for a technique.

Me to. When I get new tires i'll paint my wheels while the tire is off and bring it back to have new tires mounted on them so I can do it right. My last two sets of wheels were black, one set powder coated and the other rattle can with high temp semi flat black and the rattle can looked great and held up well too. I love my stock 17" rims but hate my tires. I like more tire with less rim so 17's and 18's are my favorite. My crappy tires bust loose in wet weather all the time so I can't imagine running them in the ice and snow this winter.
