2004 Ford 150 Lariat engine light, knocking, slight miss/slip

My truck has a slight miss/slip when driving to increase speed or climb, the engine light came on two days ago and it has a slight knock.

Any suggestions please!

Stop at your local auto parts store and have them read the CEL (Check Engine Light) then go from there. Don't just start replacing parts and hope you guessed right.
