I have done the same to mine. Works for a long time before you have to respray. If the ujoint is seizing it will need to be replaced eventually

Reviving an old thread here, but the WD-40 isn't doing the trick anymore. I've read all over that it's the lower arm that needs to be replaced. It's gotten to the point that I have to muscle it to turn at speed, downright scary sometimes.

Here's my real question: I figure it's really a safety issue more than anything else. My truck is still under the extended warranty, anyone have any idea if it will cover this?
