Check your front front windshield; I had this exact same problem. There windshield was not correctly installed and allowed a little bit of water to come through it. For the longest time I thought it was the air condition or third brake light. Just grab a hose and park your truck on a hill and spray the top piece of the windshield for a good minute; check the inside of the truck. Mine had water dripping through the back of the ceiling onto the rear seats along with coming down to the rocker panels somehow.

I took my truck to get the front windshield checked. They pressure checked the windshield and it checked out fine with no leaks. They traced the leak down and it turns out it was the 3rd brakelight.

While talking to the owner at this windshield co., I asked how many window regulators they have replaced on Ford pickups, he said you would be amazed at the ford vehicle window regulators they have and will replace. The good news, for my 2004 F150, new regulator installed - about $200.00. I paid a Ford dealership here in Columbus, Ga over $400.00 for the driverside regulator back in the spring. While the window is down, if I shut the door, the window or something makes a loud racket. it's hard to get good quality work if you don't DO IT YOURSELF.
