Fun is fun. He like to roast his tires for fun. I like to floor it and listen to my engine roar just before it shifts... sounds like a race car. maybe you like to do the cross word puzzle. To each his own.

As other have mentioned.. either you don't have a limited slip axle, or the clutch packs in your LS unit are worn out (hence why I was asking about the axle code and mileage).

So when the clutch packs go out the rear ends turns into a open diff?
I was "told" that when the clutches go out in a limited slip it becomes a full posi.
My truck leaves the same boring one line. So I'm curious too as to why.

Who doesn't do burnouts though seriously??
But back to your question,
the lack of two tires spinning could be due to a number of reasons.
1. Not a LSD rear - look for a tag on your rear end that will say something like "3.73 LS" or whatever your rear end ratio is.
2. LSD clutch packs burned out - I didn't know they went to a posi if they burned out?
3. Someone didn't add any LSD additive when they changed out the fluid
4. Are you on solid asphalt when trying to spin them?

If you go under the truck and look at the tag that is on the rear end cover, it will have an "L" and the gear ratio, for example 373. You might need to clean rust proofing off it with some carburetor cleaner. The "L" will be almost under the bolt head for the cover so look closely! The "L" is for a posi rear...Limited Slip.

either way...you can get a single wheel burn out... with either open on ls...these trucks dont come with "POSI" they come with limited slip...keyword being limited.. ive got 373ls in my truck...bought it brand new and with 34 miles on it it spun one tire...pulling a boat up a boat ramp his some slick crap.. if you do have LS... and you do these burnouts everyone is mouthing about you will have a rearend failure im sure... ive did plenty of burnouts and donuts showing off.. and if it ever spins one wheel.....i immeiditly quit...
