"posi" is not a ford term or item. they come with trac-loc limited slip differentials or an open diff. mine spins both, but it also still shudders.

When I was 16... Why would I want to burn-up $800.00 worth of back rubber...

To get laid? Girls impress easy... Besides that, my point was, everybody does burnouts. This guy might have a million dollar bankroll. A truck like his was ment for show. IMO

And to the OP. If you havent figured it out yet. Id say you probably burned out your clutch plates or the previous owner did.

LOL, new trans and clutch.... I wonder why that was needed???

I get it, now you're trying to burn up the new transmission and clutch while they are still under warranty.

I must be getting old cuz this thread is making no sense at all.

If you go under the truck and look at the tag that is on the rear end cover, it will have an "L" and the gear ratio, for example 373. You might need to clean rust proofing off it with some carburetor cleaner. The "L" will be almost under the bolt head for the cover so look closely! The "L" is for a posi rear...Limited Slip.

The clutch pack in the rear end have failed. When they are working you get the 2 wheel peel. When they are not you get the 1 wheel wonder. Thats just my unprofessional opinion.
