2004 F150 FX4 - Rancho Quicklift, XD Monster "20's with Nitto Terra Grapplers
Hello,
After owning my FX4 for 2 years I recently completed my project for upgraded wheels and tires with a leveling lift. I wanted to give everyone some feedback as to what I have experienced in a clear and concise manner.
The Specs I installed are as follows:
Suspension:
Front:
Rancho Quicklift P/N: RS999910
Rear:
Rancho RS9000XL P/N: RS999286
Wheels:
KMC XD Monster 20" 18mm offset 6x135 bolt pattern
Tires:
305-55-R20 NITTO TERRA GRAPPLERS
Observations:
The Quicklift is very easy to install and took my brother and I about 4 hours with hand tools and a jack. After starting out with the Shocks set to "3" I found it a little bouncy for my liking and set it to "4" this seems about just right for my liking. The Terra Grapplers have much better highway manners than the BFG T/A KO's I was previously running. Considering I do far more highway than offroad it was a good improvement. The Rancho Quicklift gave about 2" of lift and left about 3/4" of rake in the truck. I think this is about perfect because a level truck with no load will look like a pre-runner when some weight is put in the back. The ride and look are fantastic and I highly recommend the configuration.
