Default 2004 F150 5.4 Spark Plug Replacement

I just took my 2004 Ford F150 FX4 in for a normal spark plug change at 88,000 miles. I was well aware of of the Ford design problem documented in TSB 06-5-9 where plugs can sieze or break off. Now my $300 spark plug change has turned into a $2800 bill with one plug was siezed/broken off.If your approaching 100,00 miles, better just trade it in....Ford won;t cover it or fix the issue.

The dealer had the special tool, but indicated parts of plug had entered the engine. I have filed a Customer neative feedback complaint with FORD and Emailed Dealership my disatisfaction with Ford's design issue.

Yep.

My truck just hit 33k miles on it so I think I'll be makin an appointment with the local dealership here to do an oil change, tire rotation and plug change before the warranty expires.

They won't replace the plugs under warranty unless they foul out. then they only replace the fouled plugs. They will install the same plugs. Why not get the Brisk plugs and do it yourself. Then you have a 1 piece plug in there that will last and you wont have to change it at 30k.

Default Where do I get the Brisk plugs?

I did some research on the Brisk plugs and they certainly seem like the way to go. I just passed 60k on my 06 5.4 and want to replace my plugs to, hopefully, avoid the nightmare. But the Brisk site doesn't list a plug for my truck. Where can I get them and what's the p/n? Other than the awful seats this is a great truck and I hope to keep it for at least 200k. I've owned and loved Fords for over 30 years but to get ripped like that would put a Chevy in my garage.
