As a matter of fact I am in the middle of changing my console Shift cable in my 2004 SC Lariat as we speak. Just got done routing the new cable, but ran into a problem with cable length which brought me here for advice.

Don't want to hijack your thread so I will be opening one up directly, but would be happy to answer any question you may have up to this point.
