I bought my Reman 5.4 from http://www.powertrainproducts.net/default.asp million mile/warranty 4 years add a couple hundred for the no fault upgrade and your good. There was a sale on at the time I purchased mine so I got it for $3200 delivered to the shop that was doing the install. Looks to be a couple hundred more now since they are not on sale.

Where did you find your reman 5.4 3v for 3k.. ?I'm looking for 1 now..
Forget the EB motor.. Not worth the hassle and time.. Swap in a 5.0 if you got the time and money, but you will need a lot more than the just motor to pull it off.. The 5.0 is a sweet motor tho, I hope somebody makes a 1 and done conversion kit for the 04 - 08 f150 one day..
