Does anyone here have them? If so, how do you like them and is the light output good? Im wanting some better lights and possibly put hids in them.

The RECON's are a good replacement housing. I know a few on here do have them, and I haven't read a bad review on them yet. Only thing I would like to toss my 2c in on is that even through the recon's utilize a projector, they are designed for a halogen bulb - not an HID bulb. There's nothing wrong with using an HID setup in them, I just wanted to let you know that so you know what to expect. I did a huge write-up about this on the HID's thread.

yea i saw some of that, and the hids in this projector would still be better than the stock housing, right?

Yes, a lot better than stock reflectors. But still not ideal.

The ideal setup is a retrofit, right? sorry for all the questions but thank yall for answering them! The reason im looking at the recon projectors is i dont even know where to start to do a retrofit.
