Default 2004 5.4L ALWAYS KNOCKING. Help.

I know, I know, use the search function.
I have. Hours have been spent.
Long story short i've been looking online at tons of people diagnosing their engine's problem and watching the videos etc and none of the engines sound like this. I'm set on buying this 2004 lariat f 150 but it makes a constant knocking. Like on startup, acceleration, idle, etc.
Here is a video of it:

What am I looking at having to fix?
Sounds way more aggressive than just a cam phaser or timing chain.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds similar to when I found I had a hole in my passenger exhaust manifold. Mine is between cyl 3 and 4 on the Head side. I had the engine running and while it was still cold, held my hand over various parts of the exhaust manifold. When I felt air, I felt the manifold to try to feel for the crack and my hole finger just went in. The engine sounded like total crap but ran great. Put a temp patch on it and will be fixing within the next month or so, been trying to get to it but work has been a real nightmare lately with taking all of my time. Good luck, check the manifolds. You can also get a mechanics stethoscope and probe different areas of the engine to try to pinpoint the noise location.

Some of that sounds like loud injectors, which is common here. Maybe that's all if the spectrum I could here on my phone speakers. Might be an exhaust leak also. Does it ease up once the motor is hot? At normal operating temp?

Wow, you gave it all of 2 hours since your original post to say that. I have an answer, a mechanic will know, and since you are looking at buying it, I would run it to a mechanic before asking questions on a forum. I can't tell what you are hearing from a cell phone video anyway. Just my .02
