DTC is for one side Bank 2 and he changed it..

Just trying to eliminate the possibility that he changed the wrong side. Bank 2 is drivers side if i recall. Making sure he didn't change the passenger side.

Bank 2 should be the pass side. The engine's left side is the driver's side

You asked if he changed both ? Bank 2 is Drivers side

if the vct solenoid is good, cam pos sensor is good, another option may be sludge... try running an engine flush on it. Sludge could cause issues, even with a new solenoid.
