2004 5.4 misfire at idle/fast idle

2004 5.4 misfire at idle/fast idle
Need help. I have an 04 f150 supercrew with the 3v 5.4. When idling, it seems to have an erratic misfire. Doesn't matter if the truck is in drive or park. It will do the same if you increase the rpm when it's in park. I've had it in park and increased and held the rpm at 2000. It will run smooth, then every couple of seconds it will have a quick misfire. However, when it's in drive, it will not "Misfire" if you increase the rpm's, and I don't notice any misfire or roughness driving or accelerating. No check engine light. The truck has 72,000 miles.
