Default 2004/5.4 Does this model have a Cabin Air Filter

How can I find out if my truck has a cabin air filter?

I've looked in my book, doesn't say anything about an air cleaner.

But when I go to the parts store, it shows one listed..

I've taken my glovebox out.. and cant see where an air cleaner would go.
Before I do anymore damage, could someone tell me if this truck has an air cleaner.

this came up a few weeks ago. most said no, some said yes.

IIRC it was said that the models with the automatic climate control had it.

According to a quick google search, the 2004 F150 models did NOT have a cabin air filter. Call a dealer, its free to ask.

Plastic parts and cheap metal clips more than likely wear out eventually. new gascaps are cheap, go snag a new one.

On the question of the gas cap, the spring/tensioner is broken. It's been discussed before on this forum. Only fix is to remove (remove pin to get at broken spring).

I opted to replace with a black billet with a locking door; Scored a used one for 20 bucks.
