Why was the starter replaced to begin with? was it tested?
I know you said everything looked okay, but did you double check the battery? take it down to a shop, or just buy a new one and try it?
Back in the day I installed a starter in a trans-am i used to own and it wouldn't crank over but otherwise seemed to have power. All the electronics worked and while you could hear the starter try and turn it over, it never had enough cranking amps to fire it up. I kept messing with shims for like 3 days in a row after work thinking it wasn't engaging correctly, only to come find out my battery was the problem all along...

Yep load test that battery
Open circuit voltage check doesn't tell much . Have auto zone test battery .
If you get 4 years out of a battery you are doing good , the heat of summer kills them then first cool snap lowers efficiency and no go . You could borrow a good battery too for test .
