Outside Mirrors 2007 150 King Ranch
Spouse broke a mirror. Despite what I have read on line it turned into an ordeal. Top portion of the passenger side mirror is White, Ford only had a black one. Parts guy said the covers simply pull off. Wrong. Covers screw on from the inside and have hook tabs that hold it on. From my optic the best way to repair is to make sure you buy a new mirror (glass/plastic) and break the old one with a hammer around the edges. The portion attached to the center back portion of the mirror is the important part. Once you get access to the guts of the mirror the three hex screws holding the motor and gimble mount are pretty easy to remove. This link was very helpful

but when it said to carefully pry off the glass with a screwdriver...I broke the mirror. Again these are designed to snap together very easily but they are not made to come off as easy. Hope this saves someone some aggravation.
