Okay sounds good. I'm going to leave the turn signal bowl chrome. I'm going to use masking tape and go across the bowl. Not into the bowl. So the adhesive only touches the outer ring. Paint at the ring doesn't have to be perfect. The halos cover it up.

Emailed innovative LEDs about the controller screw breaking... Still yet to hear back from them. Not very happy.

Just a test fit. Gotta scuff the bowl and paint it as well as finish painting the shrouds. It's supposed to rain here all weekend so I'm not sure when I'll be able to paint.

For anyone interested in halos. I would suggest NOT buying from innovative LEDs. I purchased there halos and controller. The screw snapped off the controller when I went to remove the cover. I cannot put the cover back on with the screw now. They told me that it broke during installation which is not true. I went to install longer wires because I don't want to add wire to the existing wire. I don't want a place where there can be an issue. So I removed the cap to install longer wires to the battery (the wires that are there are only 6 inches long. No where near long enough to hook to terminals). They told me the wires did not need to be removed to hook it up. That I can buy another one at a discounted price or wrap the controller in electrical tape. I just paid $165 for these halos and I have to wrap it now in tape... I was going to buy $400 worth of halos from them for my girlfriends truck. But that's not happening now. I would suggest finding someone else if your planning to do halos.

I tend to find very few companies out there that actually have good costumer service. When I do find them I stick with them even if their prices are a little higher than the competition but at least I know I will be taken care of if anything happens with their product. Have you looked at superbrightleds.com?

I'm the same way. I haven't for halos. I've bought from them before though.

Working on painting the housings and everything today. Then it's assembly and in the truck.

Tried to mask the shrouds to paint them 2 tone. It's a real pain. I can't seem to get the tape to get in well so I'm just going to leave them all white. The entire housing and light will be white.
